As the owners of Creative Concepts of NJ, a custom cabinetry and millwork company, my brother Tyler and I are fortunate to have crossed paths with Risha and Taylor of Walden Interiors after being hired to produce and install custom loft millwork for one of their clients.

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside many designers, architects, and general contractors throughout New Jersey and New York City, but Walden Interiors truly stands out for their unique turnkey approach: a thoughtful blend of strong aesthetics, intentional design, and practical execution.

What became immediately evident to me is that their clients are their top priority. Their designs, attention to detail, and careful coordination of skilled tradespeople all reflect a high level of professionalism and dedication to their craft; not just as interior designers, but as a renovation management team as well.

On top of that, both Risha and Taylor are excellent communicators. They keep things clear, concise, and moving forward efficiently. Quite simply, they get things done.

Knowing what I know now, I would genuinely feel confident hiring Walden Interiors myself, and I would not hesitate to work with them again in a professional capacity in the future.

We’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Walden Interiors on several projects, supplying and fabricating custom window treatments, and it’s been a truly inspiring partnership! Risha’s creativity and commitment to thoughtful design shine in every space she creates. What makes her work unique is her vegan design philosophy. Every textile and material choice is cruelty-free, yet no less luxurious or beautiful, which really sets her apart in the interior design world.

Risha isn’t afraid of color and brings a bold, vibrant energy to her interiors that consistently elevates the overall aesthetic. Her eye for combining hues, textures, and custom details makes each project feel personal and purposeful. We always enjoy working with her & her team, and look forward to many more collaborations. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a designer who creates spaces that are sophisticated, compassionate, and full of life.

I am a local Remodeler, my Companies name is Brinks Contracting, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Risha and Taylor on a Kitchen remodel. The clients didn't have a particular vison or many ideas...in stepped Risha and she put together a truly magnificent kitchen plan from cabinets and their finish with hardware choices to flooring, lighting, countertop decisions, with a complete Appliance package...even wall and trim colors.. Brinks now recommends Walden Interiors with Risha and Taylor for their kitchen projects!!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Walden Interiors for several years now, and our collaboration always leads to a better overall project. When Risha is involved, there’s a clear vision from the start, which makes the window treatment process seamless and purposeful.

Her clients are engaged and excited, but she thoughtfully guides every decision back to the original design concept so nothing feels random or disconnected. That clarity makes my job easier and ensures the finished space feels cohesive and elevated.

It’s always a smooth, professional experience, and truly just good to work together.

Risha consulted me on my house’s interior design. After few minutes actively listening to my ideas, looking around, thinking, confirming budget and timescales, she made a slightly different suggestion and I was blown away. It was so much better! She followed up later that afternoon with a curated set of images of similar completed projects to lend momentum to my imagination and inspire me to get started. I’m a very happy customer. If I ever need to design another interior I won’t work with anyone else. If she’s busy, I’ll wait.

Working with Walden Interiors has been an incredible experience. Risha truly understands my vision and goals, and she’s helped bring everything together in ways I couldn’t have imagined on my own. She’s thoughtful about every design detail and often anticipates decisions I didn’t even realize I needed to make.

We’ve already implemented many of her design elements, and the transformation so far has been beautiful. The banquet hall is really starting to feel like the warm, welcoming space I envisioned for hosting events. I’m so happy with the process and can’t wait to see how the rest of the spaces come together!

Wow! Risha is an amazing designer. She read exactly what I wanted and translated that into a unique and wonderful ambience in my home. She totally visualized what I couldn’t, but wanted to. I had used a couple of designers prior to her and found them lackluster to say the least.
Risha exceeded all my expectations. She was also very conscious of working within my budget and coming up with very creative ways to do so. I would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.’
